I first encountered these wackjobs about 4 years ago when I accompanied my wife to a medical conference. There were several protest groups there. Some that I sided with (the anti male genital mutilation group) and some that were outright scary (the anti abortion nut jobs AANJ). The AANJs held several signs stating that abortion is bad and some that had photos of aborted fetuses. Standard fare if you've ever driven by a planned parenthood clinic.

The sign that stopped me dead in my tracks was the on that had a list of doctors on it. Only the names of the doctors were crossed off. The names were of abortion doctors that had been murdered. These people are domestic terrorists. Plain and simple. Only they aren't hiding, they are right out in the open, protected by their righteous indignation. If I murdered a minority and wrote down somewhere that I hate minorities I would get hit with a murder charge and a hate crime charge. Where is the extra penalty for these people? Where is the RICO warrant and federal investigation? These people are organized, funded and committing felonies. Where is the FBI task force?

A few months ago BG linked to Slice. Since then I have been studying up on my pizza. Last night was my first go after the studies. The results: superb. Basil and fresh moz on one. Pepperoni and black olive, shredded moz on the other. I made the crust myself the night before using a fairly simple recipe. I also made a third pizza using a bag of dough from the refrigerator at Trader Joes. That crust sucked ass, was unworkable and cooked like shit. I don't yet have a peel but found that my airbake cookie sheets worked quite well. Pizza stone set me back $10.

This is the first step on the path to the wood fired oven that I'm going to put in my back yard one day. Lets just say that if the pizza was this good my first time out, man have I been living a sheltered pizza life for a long time.
