11?
Where the hell have I been? When did we go to 11 planets in our solar system? I was cool with the demotion of Pluto. That little ellipse skipping, line cutting bitch had it coming. That gave us 8 planets and 1 dwarf. When did we promote Ceres and Eris? And while were talking about it, who gets to decide what solar orbiting body gets to make the leap? What are the required specifications?
This is some bs if you ask me.
The phrase I learned when I was a kid was: My very eager mother just served us nine pizzas. Magic carpet? That sucks.
The 11 recognized planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Ceres, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Eris.

Why the Move?
Its not because Blood busted him like STB said.
It has something to do with Obama. He pushed for Obama and now he's leaving the country.

Web addicts?
Chatting with someone about something they did earlier today......
"Otis is so addicted to the web. He had picked up the traffic to RER from sitemeter in about the first hour it was up

Oh Rly?
I think the real reason is that it contains some super secret shit that they don't want China or Russia or Iran or North Korea to get a hold of. If 50% of the thing is going to survive it might be the wrong 50% so they better shoot it down instead of letting it fall.
"A U.S. official confirmed earlier that the spy satellite is designated by the military as US 193, according to an AP report. It was launched in December 2006 but almost immediately lost power and cannot be controlled. It carried a sophisticated and secret imaging sensor but the satellite's central computer failed shortly after launch."

How it goes
I have not ingested a single soda since Monday, February 4th at roughly 4 P.M. That was when I had my last diet Coke. The reason is that I am trying to cut aspartame out of my diet. I am eating less and feel better since I did it. I am sleeping better too. I have not reduced my caffeine intake as now I am a slave to the coffee pot. So why did I quite ingesting aspartame? Well, I think it might be killing me.
"However, aspartame is likely the biggestMaybe its not. I don't know. But I am sure that I feel better and eat less when I don't ingest it.

Books
I am not the most well read person. I try, but given a choice between a novel and a magazine I choose magazine. Here are the periodicals to which I currently subscribe:
Newsweek
BusinessWeek
The Economist
The Wall Street Journal
This Old House
Maxim
Better Homes and Gardens
and like 3 others of which I don't remember the name. BTW I refuse to subscribe to the local paper as it is only slightly better than Auto-Trader.
So its not like I can't read, or even don't like to read. Its more that I find it hard to dedicate time to reading novels. I like quick bursts of information. Read an article right before bed, while drinking coffee (now that I refuse to drink diet soda), read the personal journal section of the WSJ. I do try to read the Economist cover to cover as it really is the best piece of world coverage news out there today.
When I do read books I read things like Freakenomics or Tom Clancy. So here is a bit of a resolution that I have for myself. I'd like to read five books this year that are considered literary classics.
I am looking to you for suggestions. Now the field is pretty wide open. I did take AP English in high school but lets just say at that point in my life Uncle Cliff did a lot of my homework. Sorry Ms. Kauffmann.
Keep in mind that these might be the only five "classic books" I ever read. So what do you suggest?
